What to wear to the races

28 Oct 2020

Race day season is finally here. With the weather finally getting warmer, it’s time to hit the racing clubs for some of the most fashionable and glamorous events of the year. There are lots of races just around the corner so now is the time to start putting together the perfect race day outfit. If you haven’t finalised your look yet, here are some ideas. Show off your style while soaking up the sun with friends and family.

1. Radiate in ruffles

Ruffles made its way back into the fashion scene this year. They are an easy way to add a unique texture to your look while keeping it classy and elegant. Create a soft feminine look with a ruffle slip dress or a simple tiered ruffle skirt.

2. Floral fun

Feminine floral prints are a race day staple. Make a statement in colourful florals to match the vibrant and dynamic energy of the event. There are two ways to wear florals: go all out in a floral dress or tone it down by matching a floral top with simple bottoms.

3. Simple elegance

Simple is always best. Keep it sophisticated and classy with a simple slip dress. Not only will it create a stunning silhouette, it will also keep you cool throughout the day. Depending on the dress code, go for a chic black dress or spice it up with a pop of colour.
